Wolf Hunts

The state of Wyoming approved hunting of wolves again in 2017. These hunts are definitely an exciting and challenging hunt . We have been interacting with these magnificent animals for a long time, and in our opinion, these hunts have been long overdue.  

Wind River Backcountry Outfitters offers a couple different options for our wolf hunts; First you may add a wolf to any of our hunts as long as seasons are currently open and the proper license is obtained prior to the hunt. Or, we offer a 5 day wolf only hunt. These are available on a first come first serve basis. Hunts run from November through December as long as the mortality quota has not been met.
